National search finalized for next Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor

Dear colleagues,ÌýÌý

As previously shared, our Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, Mary Clark, will be stepping down from her position this summer when her successor can begin.  We have begun a national search to identify °ÄÃÅÓéÀÖ³¡â€™s next provost and have formed a search advisory committee to help guide that work. °ÄÃÅÓéÀÖ³¡ is partnering with the search firm Isaacson, Miller, a proven leader in successfully filling higher education leadership roles.ÌýÌý

I am grateful for Dean Saitta and Melissa Akaka, who graciously agreed to co-chair this important search. I would also like to thank the entire search committee (listed below) for their time and thoughtful commitment to best hiring practices, as well as transparency, diversity and fairness. Our goal is to have a new provost hired before the start of the Fall 2025 term.Ìý
